Liam Lynch's Apocalyptic Vision

Somewhere along the way, the videos of Iamaphoney went beyond the idea of the death of a pop star and subsequent replacement and cover up, to a deep conspiracy that reaches across all disciplines. From Charles Manson's twisted vision of Helter Skelter to Satanism to the return of Jesus Christ and the final battle of good against evil, we have seen the Rotten Apple series move away from the backward masking examples of Paul is Dead clues in the early videos.

Remember this 45-second gem from Iamaphoney alias THEKINGOFCOSMANIA?

Much of the time, Paul McCartney is depicted as the evil one in this end times scenario. And one of the most baffling things for me is trying to figure out why Paul referred to himself as "The King of Cosmania" in the liner notes to "Memory Almost Full." I believe that Iamaphoney was the first to ever suggest that it was an anagram for "Son of the Magickian."

Other YouTubeings including allofthemwitches and grandfatheraleister among others have latched on to this scenario.

But Iamaphoney occasionally depicts Paul McCartney on the other side of Armageddon. In fact there are several examples of the good Paul if you can watch Rotten Apple videos without blinking.

The scenario of Paul as the sacrificial lamb has been a staple of other videomakers on YouTube as well. That was never more obvious than when YouKnowMyName231 pointed out that "The Fireman Is No Mason" was an anagram for "I am the risen Son of Man."

When I wrote an article on this blog called "Nazz" after the piece by Lord Buckley, which is presumably about Jesus Christ, I received this message from someone at NIR:

James Paul McCartney.
He was the Nazz.
It is all coming together.

Take that for what it is worth. One possible interpretation of this scenario is that the original James Paul McCartney was the Christlike figure and his replacement is the Beast. This is an interesting take on all this because it not only has a bit of logic to it, but it also leaves open the possibility of the resurrection of the original Paul, figuratively or literally.

But the scope of these videos seems far wider than that. Throw together Religion, Freemasonry, Astronomy, Magick, Egyptology and Prophecy and you've got yourself one heck of an end game. As a result it is possible to link all of this to the Mayan doomsday of 2012.

That would explain all of the "It's time" stuff that we have been hearing from the Iamaphoney camp while we wait and wait and wait.

Ringo Starr is big on the concept of time. His "Time Takes Time" is one of my favorite albums. His latest venture into computer art produced this:

(Did you notice the last city listed on the Ringo Poster?)

Enter Liam Lynch, the first and possibly last artist to be signed by a label created by Ringo Starr and Marc Hudson called Pumkinhead Records. I have no idea if he has any awareness of all of this craziness about apocalyptic Paul is Dead material on YouTube, but Lynch's latest podcast is called:

In this clever episode Lynch finds himself several centuries into the future. He wakes up in a weird world where language has been corrupted into this mixture of numbers and letters in words...

...Which reminds me of this...

Lynch gets a history lesson and finds out that God intended to destroy the earth in 2012 by hurling a comet in its direction. But thanks to the ingenuity of some scientists who were guided by a street smart punk, the earth barely survived. Unfortunately, the earth still went through an incredible trauma and had other disturbing challenges over the next 700 years including several attempts of mind control by beings from outer space called the Grots (who were dead grotty).

Lynch himself would have been a victim of the Grots had it not been for a weapon that was given to him as a birthday present 700 years prior by someone who must have had some foreknowledge of what would happen in the future. That friend who gave the weapon to Lynch in a SUITCASE was none other than Dhani Harrison, son of George. (Yes, that's really him).

I strongly encourage you to check out Liam Lynch's podcasts. Dhani Harrison had a more significant role in Episode 3. You will also find an episode with Sarah Silverman (Number 4) and the famous Episode 2 with Ringo Starr. If you think this apocalypse stuff is a bunch of nonsense, I guess you're right. But you might well ask, "Why was Ringo wearing this tee shirt in Episode 2?"

And there we are. In the words of Ringo's shirt, "Jesus is Coming --- Look Busy."

And expect the Rotten Apple series to go on for another four years.

The more you know: 2012 isn't the end of the Mayan calender. It just rolls over into its next great cycle.

Ringo has always been at the center of this. Philip Norman tried, but failed when he said Ringo was in the dark.

Thanks for this admirable piece of writing, Taf. It's always a pleasure to witness the thoughts of someone who's not afraid to allow their speculations to run wide and deep.

Liam Lynch certainly does seem worth further inquiry. A brief perusal of his lyrics reveals a leaning towards the wrecking of ships, the rising of waters, and the seeking of shelter.

Not so out of line with the now commonplace statements from many scientists that their own dire predictive scenarios for climate change and biosphere disruption in the long term have again been exceeded by yesterday's incoming data.

It gives one pause when hatching one's own little plans. What can appear to be indulging an appetite for the mysterious and conspiratorial may instead be the gathering of practical knowledge for fantastic times.

I'm missing a few basics in this realm.
- What's the source of the 'i am a phony' (or does that have an 'e' in it?) which flashes in various appearances, maybe as written in a notebook? Is the origin of that image known?
- This "code" from the Love album...was its discovery prompted by promotional announcements around the time of release? If so, where can those be seen?

Liam Lynch has more connections to the beatles, though it's indirect.

Lynch was the producer for the movie Tenacious D: The Pick Of Destiny, the band Tenacious D regulary plays beatles songs live, though some are done in a funny way, they mostly do songs from Abbey Road like You never give me your money & The End.

In "The End" they always replace the words "Love You" with "Oh Shit"

YES, YES, YES!!!!
Vince, here.
Been watching the "Lynchland" from day one. And, like Mr. Phony, you just have to sit back, and ask yourself, "Why.... and how do you have the time to make these????"
Here's hoping ALL OF YOU check out his show.
I never even gave his show the 'conpiratorial' slant that you gave it. Sometime s it just looks like he making it up as he goes along. He was also one of the first 'kids' to graduate from the Liverpool Accademy of Music, and went to a class taught by...... Mr. Paul!
Dude, you kick ass for making him part of the 'story'!!
On another comedy note, my precious "Venture Brothers" latest episode deals with Hunter S. Thompson as a super-secret agent, who actually mentions THE BUILDERBURG GROUP! A cabal of world leaders and royality who many feel rule the world. Considering they just had their latest meeting this past week, it's a sad statement to know the only time they'll be mentioned on the TV is from THIS CARTOON!!!
Still, thanks for your site. Just seeing the Lynchland" logo on your site put a smile on my face!!!

The emphasis put on "sun" symbolism in the latest grandfatheraleister video makes me think of something that may or may not have been brought up in much detail during the course of the IAAP odyssey- namely ALCHEMY. The symbolic language used in this discipline (which, according to Jung, is as much or more about the individuation of the psyche and transformation of the spirit as it is about turning base metals into gold) seems to underpin much of the PID legend as we are now being shown it (the youknowmyname231 account seems to have brought it up more specifically than the rest, but it is nonetheless sprinkled throughout). While it's hard to believe some of the larger things the Rotten Apple crew are implying (I don't think Paul is really the Zodiac killer, for example), I think a fairly strong case can be made for him being an alchemist of sorts (or at the very least exploiting the imagery in which its processes are encoded). The main theme of alchemy, after all, is that we must die to be reborn.

(I will try to keep this brief, drawing out the correspondences as they have occurred to me.)

Superstone - rather than a crystal ball or some cultish new rock band, I think this might actually point to the fabled "Philosopher's Stone"- ultimate goal of the alchemical process. (A physical stand-in for this transcendent object is shown in RA 68T as a glowing stone- and it's also IAAP's avatar at the moment).

The process of alchemy is traditionally divided into seven stages of purification (think "1-2-3-4-5-6-7, all good children go to heaven), combining the contrary energies of Above & Below (not unlike the Pepper mirror-reading), Fire & Water, Sun & Moon, etc. According to the Emerald Tablet, all of these processes can be placed under the banner of The Operations of the Sun. The individual's psyche is spoken of as the Philosophical Egg (making the individual himself an "eggman" perhaps?).

The "seven steps" may or may not bring to mind Paul's supposed initial pot epiphany, but the symbols associated with the first step of alchemy, Calcination, are very much in line with those in the latest PID mythos.

Calcination is in many ways about the death of the ego an the illusions it has embraced, and marks the first step in the alchemical process towards a spiritual rebirth. Its associated imagery is both fiery and dark, indicating the base elements of consciousness being burnt down to a charred chunk of black matter.

The Doctrine of Correspondence links Calcination with the following symbols:

-Ram horns from the constellation of Aries, a fire sign that originated in ancient Egypt with the ram-headed sun god Amen (whose powers even then were associated with the emergence and the assertion of ego).

Astrologically, the Arian search is for a separate identity; like the Sun it exalts, Aries is the most fiery of all the signs.

FIREMAN anyone? Fire, in alchemy, is symbolic of heightened consciousness, expressed as willpower (or thelema, as Crowley would term it). As for the repeated emphasis on the "SON of MAN" phrase, it should be noted that "SON of MAN" is used in alchemical writings to refer to the so-called "Christ consciousness" said to reside, at least potentially, within every human heart.

-The Fool of the Tarot (Fool on the Hill), who is unaware that he already possesses the elements of the Great Work.

-A black bird sitting atop a skull (blackbird singing in the dead of night)

-Death's Head/Ritual Sacrifice of the Tyrant King

-Black Rose (I'm not positive on this one, but I do know that white and red roses are both symbolic of later stages in the alchemical process).

-The Four Elements (earth, air, fire, water)- I think this might be behind those ritual poses on the Help! cover. Paul is the "fire" man? Goo goo g'joob?

Putting all this together, I think it is possible to view the PID story as an allegory of alchemical initiation. Paul didn't really die, he was telling the truth about that, but I think it is possible to say he did die on a symbolic level. All the Beatles did, in a way. I think this might be the "secret message" that's out there in the open on the Pepper cover. All that meditating in India could be seen as an extension of the same process.

Whether their activities in this regard are an indication of some larger conspiracy of indoctrination, mind control and the like remains to be seen and/or shown. It should be entertaining, in any case. I have a feeling there IS something weird at the heart of all this...

That's a hefty chunk of information for us.
I can't help but feel we get all this information TOO easily.
I recall either Fonda or Hopper saying the same thing, something akin to, 'without the journey, the information is useless.'
But, then again, who's to say our minds aren't ready for............ well, for whatever all these 'cats' are always warning us ....... that something's coming!!

Has anyone noticed the duality in that Iamaphoney sees Paul as Son of the Magickian and YouKnowMyName sees him as Son of Man. One series is focused on Satan and black magic, the other focused on Jesus and secret knowledge.

Something weird, to follow up on my post above...

Prophecies of the Alchemists

The universe is a living process in which mankind can play an active part, and if he does not, there is no use for his consciousness. The alchemists recognized this and were careful to keep their motives pure and their worldly greed in check else their beloved Stone were to become a powerful nemesis they named the Rejected Stone.

Psychology has shown that you cannot reject a part of yourself without it coming backk at you, becoming a "shadow" that follows you everywhere you go. In fact, one of the terms alchemists used to describe the Rejected Stone was the Umbra Horrenda, the "Horrendous Shadow."

Many religious descriptions of apocalyptic events can be interpreted in terms of the appearance of the Rejected Stone or even the complete opening of the gates that hold back the forces of chaos. Golden Dawn magician Aleister Crowley considered himself to be the reincarnation of alchemist Edward Kelly. Crowley alleged that he had contacted the same Enochian angels that Kelly and Dr. John Dee had worked with and learned the so-called Apocalypse Working Ritual that the angels will complete to open the Four Watchtower Gates and begin the Apocalypse of St. John. In 1909, Crowley performed this ritual himself and believes he was able to crack open the Watchtower Gates enough to release some of the chaos into the world. However, in reading the descriptions of the Apocalypse from Crowley and Dee and even the Bible, it appears to be more an unleashing of the Umbra Horrenda in psychological and spiritual terms than a physical upheaval. Perhaps, like Crowley, we are the real workers of our own apocalypse; perhaps we are the ones who perform the Apocalypse Working Ritual without even realizing it and initiate the devastating process of Putrefaction.

By all indications, planetary Putrefaction has already begun...

...[The] precessional line takes about 26,000 years to pass through all twelve signs of the Zodiac. This cosmic horoscope indicates the highest spiritual forces at work on the entire planet. The Age of Leo, which ended approximately 10,000 years ago, corresponds to the Putrefaction process in which life on the planet was dominated by superior forces of utter destruction that resulted in a state of luxuriant fertility. This was the era of the Great Flood and the Sphinx, and, some say, when the Emerald Tablet first appeared on the planet...The coming Age of Aquarius, which may have already begun, will be a time of vision and tolerance that the alchemists connected with the final operation of Coagulation. Carl Jung estimated that this era of Hermes would begin sometime between 1997 and 2200, and scientists at the French Institute for Geophysics have predicted the actual astronomical passage will occure in 2010, remarkably close to the 2012 date which marks the end of the ancient Mayan calendar.

km artlu asked:

Are you talking about the ambigram, where "Iamaphoney" looks identical when it is flipped upside down? When Paul released "Chaos and Creation in the Backyard" he used a specially commissioned ambigram for his name on the cover. If you search the web you will find many sites with examples of ambigrams and even one or two that will generate one if you supply the data.

Paul pointed out his fascination with the ambigram during the promotion for the album. Why? Choose your answer from the multiple choice items below.

a) He thought it was really cool and it stroked his ego to see his name do a magical thing.

b) He was telling his fans to turn things upside down to find hidden clues.

c) He was conveying the message: "[I] am Big Ram."

d) All and none of the above.

The Iamaphoney ambigram isn't quite as fancy as Paul's, but it does appear to be more sophisticated than the one you can generate on the web, plus it has that "Y" symbol that has produced so much speculation. I suspect it was either commissioned or done by Iamaphoney himself.

And yes, "Iamaphoney" always has that extra "e" in it. I don't know if it was an accident or by design, but it is stuck on good and proper now.

I hope I haven't missed the point of your question. If I have, please clarify.

You also asked:
- This "code" from the Love album...was its discovery prompted by promotional announcements around the time of release? If so, where can those be seen?

I should probably do a separate post to explore this one in more detail. But the short answer is the origin of the "Love Code" is in question. There is a web site that contains that supposed quote from George Martin about there being a code of some kind on the "Love" album, but I have not been able to confirm the legitimacy of it. It appears to be a promotional gimmick, but one would think it would have appeared in other places if it was part of the plan to promote the CD.

I was blown away when I first saw the word "Love" being mirrored into the word "Code," but after all this time the answer to "So what?" has still not appeared. But, the shapes/symbols that appear between the letters as the result of the mirroring are interesting. There have been hints of the fake mustache, the pineal gland, etc., but at this point there is nothing concrete.

Even if it turns out to be nothing, I think you will find fruit if you look at the "Love" album as another pointer back to "Sgt. Pepper."

Who said anything about believing? Anyway, that is the beauty of it in an ironic, artistic sense. John Lennon got in all that trouble for his "More popular than Jesus" statement in 1966. How crazy would it be if some people "believed" that Paul was the Risen One?

Christians get insulted all the time, but they still survive to this day. They can handle it. How insulting was it to Christians when some people thought Charles Manson was the Savior? I would worship a Beatle or my dog before him.

Pretty crazy...but then again, crazier things have happened.

I guess it's better for the psychos out there to believe Paul is a Risen Christ rather than a Risen Satan, though (hopefully they don't start planning any crucifixions)!

End times? Freremasons? 2012? It might just be my Atheist outlook, but when did logic fly out the window? It was good when It was about Paul, now it's veered off into Bible camp. And I never like Bible camp.

Anonymous said...

I have a feeling if people heard you talking knowledgeably about those subjects in a real bible camp, there's a good chance you'd be excommunicated or burned at the stake! :D

Isaac Newton was a practicing alchemist. He had a profound belief in god, but his experiments in alchemy led him to hold many beliefs which would have tarred him as a damned heretic had he let them out into the open. Alchemy is based on a very mystical subset of christian ideas, if at that; it is probably more pagan and/or scientific in outlook than anything else (and, it has been argued, early christianity may have been significantly influenced by it).

The Black Crow Caws

For the alchemists, the Black Crow was the perfect symbol for this consciousness-creating process (Separation). The bird's color stands for the beginning stages of alchemy- the dark phases of the death of the profane -yet as a bird, it is messenger of spirit and hope. Crows are notorious scavengers, often collecting shiny trinkets, and in medieval times were thought to be attracted to gold. Their loud cawing has been described as a call to higher consciousness and was part of ancient divination rituals.

Images of Separation are tools like knives, scissors, hatchets and swords...Other alchemical images include dismemberment, mutilation, surgery, decapitation, divorce, splitting of the Red Sea, the release of steam, breaking apart of heaven and earth, a lone feather, the formation of eggs and embryos, etc. etc.

During Separation, the alchemist must split apart and expose the hermetically sealed Egg of Self. Separation breaks through the illusory cosmic play that Hindu philosophers referred to as "maya," a concept that dominates much of Indian thought. In the shamanic tradition, cutting through worldly illusion is referred to as the ability to "see," while the process of trying to catch the ego in its habits and manipulations is part of the "stalking."

"There is more here than meets the eye..."

Conjunction

The new perspectives and energy released from the breakdown and reclassification of psychic structures during Separation gives the alchemist the strength to divorce himself from sterile "mental marriages"- stubborn beliefs and attitudes involving the ego's striving to build fame, fortune and family. The alchemists called these goal-oriented constellations of mental energy "Conjunctions," and the multifarious unions of spirit with ego were known as "Terrestrial Conjunctions." Breaking up these spiritually unproductive earthly marriages was the job of the first three steps on the ladder of alchemy (Calcination, Dissolution, and Separation).
