iamaphoney - the right album bootleg 09-09-09 promo
Okay, well maybe you won't love the whole video portion, but musically this looks like it will be a sonic delight for those of us who have been intrigued by Iamaphoney's soundtracks.
The last thing I heard from anyone related to the Iamaphoney camp was that "The Right Album" does exist. All I could think of was the fictitious John and Yoko album that was at the heart of the infamous April Fools joke from our friend Jude. But this appears to be a second Iamaphoney bootleg, and if the clips in this video are any indication, it will be superior to the first one. If Iamphoney shared these recordings with Mike, and Mike shares them with us, that would be a wonderful thing. The supposed release date of 09/09/09 is a bit strange considering that as much as I adore Iamaphoney and worship the ground that he walks on, I'm afraid that I will be listening to something else on September 9 of this year even if our hero comes to my house and places "The Right Album" in my cold dead hands.
Still I look forward to hearing it and I predict that "Apple Star It Was A Fake Mistake" will be the sleeper hit of the year among conspiracy theorists, NIR types, TKIN types, PID fanatics, United Methodists, and Charles Dodgson fans like me.

Some stores put them out today (the 8th) so I guess the 09-09-09 was ignored. I bought the remastered Yellow Submarine. I wanted to compare it with the remastered Yellow Submarine Songtrack CD from a few years ago. I didn't notice any differences in sound quality on the Beatles songs but it's nice to have George Martin's score sounding much better than the 80's CD I have.
I now own 3 different versions of Yellow Submarine on CD. Curse you evil Beatles! LOL
Might've found a little clue for you all in the latest issue of Rolling Stone (1087 "The Joy of Stephen Colbert"). Just LOOK at the Beatles "Remastered - Rediscovered" advert on page 101 and notice the cloud immediately to the left of "Beatles"...remind anyone of the Magical Mystery Tour bass drum, maybe? The clouds on the opposite side, as long as we're indulging in some healthy pareidolia, has what might be a very subtle nod to the "Yellow Submarine" art. The photo underneath puts an odd emphasis on Paul, as usual... YOU'RE WELCOME, IAMAPONY!

Here's a funny note on Chinese trying to speak/write English. A friend of mine gave me a Rolex Submariner watch copy; made in China. On the outside, only an expert, or a person very familiar with Rolex watches could tell it apart from the real deal. Funny thing was, on the inside of the case back, where it should say Geneva, Switzerland, it said Galena, Shitinerand. I thought that was funny as hell! I could picture a Chinese person saying Geneva, Switzerland and then trying to spell it the way they were saying it! Needless to say, the movement broke after a couple of years, and I threw it away.....but kept the case back for shits and giggles.

I'm a great admirer of your work in Philadelphia radio and TV and in the many years you covered and reported on the Beatles, while they were a group and up to the present day. I'd like to know if you are aware of or have participated in a series of short films on youtube called The Rotten Apple which seem to suggest that Paul McCartney was replaced with a look-a-like.
