How funny was that when Paul made the dig at George W. Bush with the "library" comment? I almost fell out of my chair.

Because George W. Bush not only didn't know what a library was, he was also a right-wing conservative born-again Christian, yikes. He fought a war against terrorists, what a disgrace. His religious beliefs actually guided his decision making as a president, and we all know that isn't cool unless you follow Crowley. Way to go, Paul. Way to go. You should start a blog.

It's not that I'm surprised, it's that I keep hoping I will be.

If it were feasible, I'd support invading and upturning (and subsequently rebuilding) any and every country that is led by mad men. If what George W. did (in retrospect) wasn't all that feasible, I still say his heart and mind were in the right place when he initiated it.

There's nothing wrong with questioning leaders, but there's also nothing wrong with doing what you're told if you agree with your leader.

If his heart and mind had been in the right place America would have invaded Saudi Arabia but since the U.S. government is Saudi Arabia's bitch and it's so dependent on Saudi oil and America is in so much debt to Saudi Arabia, Bush didn't do the honorable and just thing at all but he played politics. You agree with not punishing the people behind the terrorist attacks on 9/11?

They'll never be punished and the deaths of all those who perished on the day will never be avenged.

Anonymous said...

I'm actually shocked that you don't believe that George W. Bush orchestrated 9/11 since most of your fellow PID friends believe that. Are you sure that you're really PID?

As for madmen who need to be overthrown. That's EVERY country at one time or another. Just ask a Native American about having their land stolen, hunted down and then exterminated....and good luck finding one.

Anonymous said...

I used to think 9/11 was an inside job, and I guess I used to think Paul is dead too (on some level).

A lot of us just made up our minds at a certain point to give George W. the benefit of the doubt, trust he was sincere when he spoke of his beliefs and motives, and support him in his decisions. He wasn't perfect, maybe he could have done better, but I don't think he betrayed himself or his beliefs during his time as president. And I don't think he betrayed his Bible-thumping followers either.

Barak Obama basically mocked the Bible and people who fully believe it. He referred to a verse in Romans as "obscure." He may be doing what he thinks is right, but his mind is definitely not in the right place.

Anonymous said...

Bush may have been sincere but he was wrong. He gave Osama Bin Laden nothing to worry about.

I'm no fan of Obama either.

Both men have been an embarrassment to the Presidency. Too bad there's no next Reagan on the horizon. Had Reagan been in office America would have had Bin Laden by now.

McCartney ended the evening taking a baseless cheap shot at former President George W. Bush.

“After the last eight years, it’s great to have a President who knows what a library is,” McCartney quipped.

McCartney is the third recipient of the Gershwin Prize. Hailing from England and having earned no university degrees of his own, the Beatle may not know W. was the first American president to earn a master’s degree in business administration. Not to mention Bush is married to a librarian.

Well, sure, with any artist you can find strawmen to knock down. Paul Simon is a great lyricist but he's got tons of crappy lyrics, too.

What about Penny Lane? It has amazing provocative and vivid lyrics. She's Leaving Home, For No One, Here, There, and Everywhere, Fool on the Hill, there are many examples of Paul's lyrical abilities.

And yeah, the boys, particularly John and Paul, were known to be sophisticates with intellectual leanings, Lennon was a huge reader and so was Paul.

Anonymous said...

we take it for granted, but very few human beings are capable of crafting lyrics and calling up images that become part of the collective cultural fabric, whether those lyrics are deceptively simple ("These are words that go together well", oddly memorable ("it's been a hard day's night") or more obviously poetic ("Whisper words of wisdom"). The Beatles place in history is sealed. Their lyrical relevance to their era and in musical history is well-known and not in dispute.

You're forgetting.

PID has a major conservative right wing bent to it.

Macca just made himself more hated to these people.

Never mind that he wrote the anti-terrorist anthem "Freedom" right after 9-11.

yeah, there are definitely some right-wing and conservative Christian elements to PID. Aside from the obvious reasons (e.g. the devil runs show biz), it might also have a little in common with Macarthy-ism, you know, that paranoia that thinks Commies are everywhere and that people are replaced body-snatcher like for some goofy reason that no one can articulate.

Excellent five part series that exposes the influence of the Illuminati/NWO on the entertainment industry. Some of this footage appeared in Zeitgeist and in several Alex Jones documentaries but never as complete and unedited as presented here.

Part 1: watch?v=a1Y73sPHKxw

My one complaint, and I'll level this against the RA series as well, is the overdubbing of dramatic music that while effective is also unnecessary. The footage speaks for itself.

One thing you can be certain of, this blog will always exist. And the world (as we know it) will end far sooner than 15 or 20 years time. Paul probably won't die again, but if he does he'll surely return. That is, of course, unless Paul is the devil, in which case Axl Rose is off the hook.

In keeping with his headline-making special concerts over the last few years, the tour will see the iconic star and his band play unique venues, places and locations; new cities he’s never played and familiar markets he’s not visited for a while.

Paul’s first concert in North Carolina in 17 years will take place at the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte on 28th July 2010. This will be Paul’s first appearance in Charlotte since 1993’s mega ‘New World Tour’ which saw Paul rock out across the world, performing over 80 magical performances.

ok, so I just checked out some audio from the "Paul is Really Dead" thing, and it takes a millisecond to determine it's not George Harrison's voice. Funny how hard it is to impersonate someone else well enough to actually fool anyone (let alone singing voice), even for Beatle freaks who've practiced for decades.

Anonymous said...

hahahah so M15 covered up Paul's death to "prevent mass suicides" by fans, but then assassinate Lennon because he's going to spill the beans. Hmmm. . .guess they weren't worried about suicides over Lennon's death (and there were indeed suicides after that).

That movie has to be a comedy in the vein of Spinal Tap I'm guessing.

Anonymous said...

Not comedy, just poorly conceived conspiracy (bad fonts and graphics too).

You think they would have gone for some tape distortion to obscure the weak voice impersonation, but even that would fail to obscure the cheesy campfire style in which it is being read.

The recent "revelation" by the granddaughter (I believe) of Joe Ephgrave, who designed the Pepper drumskin, is something all PIDers should take note of. You see, even though there was wild speculation that his name was concocted as a portmanteau (two words blended together) for Epitaph and Grave, turns out it was his actual name, and that he designed the drum on his own without instruction from the Masons blah blah and that the word HEARTS when mirrored almost always looks like HE DIE no matter the font.

As has been repeated here often, sometimes coindidence really is just that, and sometimes people can find clues and read into things that aren't there. Yeah, his name does look like a portmanteau if you are looking for stuff, but that's how the world works much of the time.

And the same can be said of virtually every PID clue.

Anonymous said...

That's why I tend to believe the majority of PID/PWR clue-hunting is not really about whether Paul died. It's a pasttime for Beatle fans. A way of collaborating and having fun with (and inventing) clues. It's a way to keep the myth of the Beatles alive. This is why 99% of all the "clues" and topics of discussion aren't serious, and geared toward connections and puns and fun stuff because it's just that: something fun to do. It's not a serious murder investigation by any stretch.

Thank you for the Ephgrave source, Anony. Seems legit.

I'm actually kind of interested in the suggested link between John's circus wagon and the one depicted on the Junior Campbell "Second Time Around" album cover...they do look oddly similar...

In addition, though, Campbell (Scottish, born William Campbell? Billy?!) is ex-Marmalade, recorded at DeRAM records (set up in 1966), and ended up writing songs for the Thomas the Tank Engine tv show (don't we know someone else who ended up on that?). Anything ringing a bell?

During the 1970s he had two self penned solo records released, both of which, "Hallelujah Freedom" (#9) (1972), (with Doris Troy on backing vocals), and "Sweet Illusion" (#15) (1973).

Freedom and Illusion...

Didn't Paul hang out at Campbeltown farm in Scotland? ;-)

Bluelink guy is angry Bible guy. I hope he's consistent and trolls Lady GaGa fansites too since she just made the most blasphemous video of all time...but he's probably afraid of her fans.

Rewatching some of the older IAAP entries, the things that stand out the most to me are the retouched photos for Magical Mystery Tour (inexplicably placing a hand over Paul's head) Let It Be (the red background on Paul, slightly more explicable, for design reasons maybe) and Abbey Road (allegedly, on the infamous LMW license plate). Are these simply IAAP's fabrications, or was somebody actually tasked with things like placing random hands into photos?

I don't have the CD in front of me but I seem to recall that in the photo in the booklet, everybody in the back row in that crowd shot has their hands up like they're going "Yay!" so I think he just zoomed in on the pic of Paul. Funny though. If "the walrus was paul" then he's the only Beatle on the front cover of MMT that doesn't have a hand over his head. lol

It's for the song "Alejandro". Funny thing is no less than Katy Perry bitched at Lady GaGa on her twitter account about it and said she was wrong to be blasphemous. That must mean Katy Perry is on the side of good and righteousness. I'm happy about that. She has big tits. lol

Iamaphoney's website flashes "like more wizars" in an apparent reference to the LMW license plate on the Abbey Road cover. Regardless of whether or not that's what the license plate letters actually stand for, is the "like more wizards" thing evidence of wizardry, sorcery, witchery, and magic in the iamaphoney camp?

Because speaking of blasphemous messages, and "anti-Biblical" sentiments/actions... are all (or most) of you guys wizards?

Anonymous said...

Anonymous,
Regarding the MMT photo and the added hand: this "clue" (hands over heads) is the focus of one of the RA entries, and both versions of the MMT photo- original and allegedly re-touched versions -are shown and compared. I can't remember the RA episode off the top of my head, but I think it was in the 30s range.

I think it's more a case of paranoia and bitterness. Like why did the Beatles and Nirvana and every other band make it big but the Phoney guys never got anywhere with their band. Combine that with their love of conspiracy theories and it becomes "they must have all been wizards" rather than "no, it's because we suck". lol

What are you talking about? IAAP fabrications? What does he have to do with anything? The reddish hue on Let it Be is an old death clue, but it's a still from the film, and there was a reddish hue in the background. Whoop ti doop. Great clue.

The hand in the pic in MMT isn't retouched, it's I believe Mal Evans' hand. So what? If you wanted to leave death clues, would you put a hand over your head? That's not a death clue. A hand over the head doesn't call to mind, "Hey, this guy must be dead because someone's hand is over his head in a picture." If anything it's a symbol of benediction.

And what does LMW mean? Like More Wizards hahahahahaha. C'mon. If you're going to task someone with clues task someone that comes up with something good.

The background wasn't red, and the hand clearly was not present in the original photo, hence my questions.
