The Iamaphoney Calendar has a minor change. See?
Hey, he added something for April 30/May 1. That's right now! What a perfect way to end April Fools Month. I have willingly been Iamaphoney's fool this month and I have learned plenty. I believe he loves me and I love him too. I have used the month of April to pay a special tribute to him and I hope he enjoyed it. It was a challenge, and there were some touch and go moments, but I made it through.
It will be interesting to see if the readers of this blog stay up the next 24 hours to see what Iamaphoney does. I'm a fool, but I'm not an idiot. I realize that some people have lost interest. I haven't. There are still rich areas to explore in the mysterious world of the Beatles. So, I'll keep posting for a while and I hope you all will keep reading and contributing. I have especially enjoyed all of those people who commented, that includes those who disagreed with me, corrected me, educated me, made me laugh, and made my day with kind words.
Hope to see you all in the coming months or maybe sooner if Iamaphoney actually comes through with something interesting before the clock of April Fool's month strikes midnight.

Hey no, are you the one who lost his internet connection? On my April 10 Iamaphoney all nighter, my whole computer went down. I had to borrow one to watch the interview that never happened. The 72 comments on the blog (or whatever it was) made it worth staying up.
ReplyDeleteLike I told someone else, the game is not over until you decide it is. At least that's how it looks to me as I watch the game without actually playing. Anyway, "I'm A Loser" is one of my favorite Beatles songs, so you've got nothing to fret about.

ReplyDeleteYes, the version of "I'm A Loser" on Shindig is great too. I thought the Beatles were surprisingly tight musically on the 1965 tours. I realize that Shea was a problem and needed some overdubs, but that was a strange place to try to play. I always thought the 1965 Paris gig was their best recorded live concert.
