ORIGINAL Astrology Document

After posting MikeNL1038's YouTube background photograph, which appeared to be a recreation of a document presumably prepared by the scanner-challenged finder of the Berlin suitcase, I received a photograph of what appears to be the Original Astrology Document.


The presence of this document in my hands may elicit all kinds of speculation, which is understandable. I am guessing that the Iamaphoney organization wants this document available for some reason.

Facts:
1) I can neither authenticate nor dismiss this document as a legitimate Beatles item.
2) Most historians cite the "Magical Mystery Tour" film as the the Beatles first and only big flop.
3) The "4 or 5" magicians in the "Magical Mystery Tour" film were John, Paul, George, Ringo and Mal Evans.
4) In John Lennon's tell all interview with Jann Wenner (Published as "Lennon Remembers") John identified Neil Aspinall and George Martin as people who overinflated their importance in the creative output of the Beatles. He intentionally did not include Mal Evans in that rant.
5) Mal Evans told Ken Mansfield "Paul and I just worked out some problems, and he is going to give me credit for some of the things I wrote with him." (From "The White Book," page 179).
6) Mal died shortly after that conversation and official credit has never been given to him (although most Beatles fans are aware that he was involved in the writing of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band).
7) In 1996, Paul McCartney went to court to prevent Mal's widow, Lily, from selling the original lyrics to "With A Little Help From My Friends."


Not Facts:
Just a guess here, but I think that it's possible that Iamaphoney is using these documents to establish Mal's uncredited input in the writing of "Magical Mystery Tour." In order for this to be true, these documents have to be real of course. Could it be that if the secret of Mal Evans' involvement in the creative side of the Beatles is revealed then other Beatles' secrets would quickly unravel?

This document serves as the current background to MikeyNL1038's YouTube Channel. It is presumably the one he mentioned from the Berlin Suitcase.


There is talk of a hostess and a placeholder for a song, so this appears to be presented as an unused idea for "Magical Mystery Tour."

Obviously the timetable for revealing the suitcase items has been delayed.

As the end of the weekend approaches, we are still waiting for a glimpse of the contents of the Berlin Suitcase.

There is a rumor of a New York suitcase, but I could not find a mention of it on Iamaphoney's channel, and I believe the suspected YouTube user account 0Bama2008 has been closed.

Thanks to those who got my little Halloween joke. There was nothing "cryptic" about it, but it did contain one hidden message. It wasn't intended as a real clue, just a one word message from me. You have to enlarge the print to see it.

Pantomime "Everywhere It's Christmas"

If the Berlin suitcase contains this item, then the finder has a nice collector's piece.


The flexi-record went out to British Beatles Fan Club members around the 16th of December, 1966. According to the accompanying Beatles Fan Club Newsletter, the recording was made "just six days after Paul's return from Kenya." That would be November 25, 1966, according to the letter. The letter indicated that Mal Evans was "given a Special Guest Star role." Paul is credited with the sleeve design and all four Beatles are credited for writing the Pantomime. The Beatles seemed in good spirits on the recording. There was no hint of grieving on the part of any members of the band. But there are a few oddities in the lyrics (which have never been accurately published to my knowledge) that make Paul Is Dead theorists wonder.

"TELL ME, ARE YOU ENJOYING THE WINE?"
-"I AM INDEED YOUR HIGHNESS. IT GOES WELL WITH ME. YEH, VERY GOOD
VERY GOOD, HA HA HA!"
-"THE KING SEEMS TO BE ENJOYING HIMSELF TONIGHT! YOU MIGHT NOT HAVE SEEN
HIM ON SUCH GOOD FOCUS SINCE THE OCTOBER FESTIVAL."
-"ALRIGHT! IS THERE A DOCTOR HERE? IS THERE A DOCTOR AROUND HERE?
DID ANYBODY SEE ONE?"

The above quote doesn't sound like something that would have emerged in a conversation built around, "I have an idea for our Christmas message," but all of the Beatles Christmas flex-discs were a little weird. Another oddity is a track entitled "OROWAYNA (Corsican Choir and Small Choir)." It sounds like a legitimate Christmas hymn of some kind, but a Google search of the word "Orowayna" yields only links to items related to this Beatles track. Attempts to transcribe the lyrics have also identified "ENDOMAINYA" as the second line to the song, but to me, the second line has always sounded like "angel manger."

What we don't know (and I honestly don't know why we don't know) is if the item in the suitcase is this actual collector's piece, or if it is something else. Is the disc inside the cover? Are there any annotations? If there was a record, was it the 1966 Christmas flexi-disc or something else? Seems to me that we should know this information by now. Hopefully someone will tell us something soon.
