Random Ramblings from the Dark Side

Grandfatheraleister returns with one of his best: Paul is Dead - 34 -"No One Does It to You like Roman Polanski"

It is always fun to see when our lunatic fringe subject is alluded to in the mainstream media.

A Master’s in Paul-Is-Definitely-Not-Dead By Allan Kozinn. In addition to his Beatles-related articles in the New York Times and his occasional stories for Beatlefan, Kozinn wrote an excellent book called "The Beatles."

Some people may find Ringo Starr's new Aviva ad a little Matrixy.

Surely the release date of The Beatles Rock Band Game will make most people raise an eyebrow or two.

  1. IF...Paul/Faul had all the surgeries the PID groups say he's had. Nose, chin, era, eye.

IF...Paul/Faul had presented himself as the messianic figure Iamaphoney says he has.

It would look a little something like this....

  10. "I believe a new Portishead record is one of the signs from the Biblical Book of Revelations. OK, perhaps not quite that unexpected, but most observers had given this British collective up for dead as the years dragged on. Now, they’re back, and it sounds like the interceding decade did not happen. The songs are still lush, engaging, and—most of all—creepy. As always, the music on Third is a three-way dance: vocalist Beth Gibbons; guitarist Adrian Utley; and producer Geoff Barrow, who crafts the band’s unique soundscapes. The approach here is a bit more varied: the harsh mechanical pulse of “Machine Gun”; the atmospheric jazz of “Hunter”; and the folksy, ukulele-driven “Deep Water,” which sounds like a song Maureen Tucker would have sung with Velvet Underground. Yet, my favorite would have to be the epic “Small,” where the trio take all the lessons they’ve learned in the past 17 years, and collapse them into one seven-minute track."

You mean to tell me that that same same dates are the reg-date of all the phoney accounts!?!

  38. I told you, sir, they were red-hot with drinking; so full of valor that they smote the air, for breathing in their faces, beat the ground for kissing of their feet.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Somewhere, Paulie is laughing.

Where do you think IAAP gets all that rare footage and rare tracks? How do you think he gets away with using it without being shut down by EMI?

Paul loves the Beatles just as much as the rest of us, and will always fan the flames to keep the magic going. And, like his old partner, he's an eternal prankster with a devilish flair for the absurd. That bastard will be leaving clues even after he's dead.

  46. Where do you think IAAP gets all that rare footage and rare tracks? How do you think he gets away with using it without being shut down by EMI?

Like all of the other PID filmmakers who use copyrighted Beatle images, film and music? What rare footage and which rare tracks? I believe Taf has stated that IAAP hasn't used anything that cannot be found in public domain somewhere. Besides, if you're wondering about copyright infringement, much of what Phoney uses is not under Macca's control, and therefore could be shut off by any number of copyright claimants were they so inclined. Most of the interviews and photos in the series are copyrighted by individuals and groups other than EMI, and you can find practically every Beatle interview on YouTube somewhere, and no one has shut them down either. The television footage of Heather Mills, for example, has nothing to do with Macca.
