Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney are planning to appear together at the David Lynch Foundation Benefit Concert on April 4, 2009 at Radio City Music Hall. Steve Marinucci of Examiner.com said that this information came from "informed sources."
Yes, it is always difficult to put much stock in "informed sources" but Steve does have a good track record on these things. There is nothing yet on the Official David Lynch Foundation page about this addition. The Foundation supports Transcendental Meditation and seeks to "change the world overnight" by promoting "Consciousness-Based Education and World Peace." In a related bit of good news, that gum you like is going to come back in style.

I work with David Lynch. This rumor about Ringo is untrue. I just contacted the Lynch Foundation's director, who told me that Ringo is NOT scheduled to appear at this benefit concert. I also checked with the TM Blog, which Beatles Examiner cited as a source, and there was never any mention there of Ringo being on the ticket. Sorry folks, maybe Ringo will come but for now it's just gossip.
